4. HEALTH HAZARD DATA

 

SKIN CONTACT: May cause moderate irritating to skin.  Prolonged contact may cause defatting of the skin. *

 

EYE CONTACT: Causes eye irritation. Is a severe eye irritant.

 

INHALATION: Inhalation of concentrated vapor may cause irritation to nose, throat and respiratory tract.

Overexposure to vapors may cause headache, vertigo, nausea, vomiting and diarrhea.  Over-exposure can cause CNS (central Nervous System) depression.

 

INGESTION: Harmful if swallowed.  May cause blindness or death.

 

SIGNS AND SYMPTOMS: Irritations as noted above.  Early to moderate CNS (Central Nervous System)

Depression may be evidenced by giddiness, headache, dizziness and nausea:  In extreme cases unconsciousness and death may occur.

 

AGGRAVATED MEDICAL CONDITIONS:  If used as packaged in this pen, there are none.

 

EMERGENCY FIRST AID PROCEDURES:

 

EYE CONTACT: Flush immediately with water for 15minutes ensuring all surfaces and crevices are flushed by lifting lower and upper lids.  Get medical attention.

EMERGENCY FIRST AID PROCEDURES CONTINUED:

SKIN CONTACT: Remove contaminated clothing.  Wash under shower with soap and water for 15 minutes.  Seek medical attention if irritation persists.  Do not re-use clothing until cleaned.

 

INHALATION: If swallowed, call a physician immediately, Induce vomiting only on advice of medical personnel.  Never give anything by mouth to an unconscious person.

 

CARCINOGENCITY:  This material is not considered a carcinogen by the N.P.T., I.A.R.C. or O.S.H.A
